Self Reflection

         I had a Process Speech in this unit. This is something I have never tried, and this is also a good start. My topic is how to take a group photo, I don’t prepare a camera for everyone. I believe that everyone has their own mobile phone. The mobile phone has a camera function, so I just spent 1 night to writing an outline. Listening to other people's speeches is what I find the most interesting. I can learn new things to improve my speeches. The hardest part for me is when I'm giving a speech. I feel that time is passing slowly, and everyone watching me makes me feel depressed. I think this speech is better than last time. I remember what I want to say. I also have an attention getter. I think the length of my speech is a bit short, but I use space and equipment are good. When the other presenter has their speech, I always take the note, wrote down what I learned. I hope I can do more better jobs in next speech, so I set 2 goals for that. One is practice pronunciation more before speaking. The other one is having a nice attention getter. I will try my best to do that.

Peer Feedback           Today I learn about how to shave in Tim's presentation. Tim's presentation had clear directions and the speech was entertaining. I can follow the steps to do the activity. His speech was fun, He first wet his chin with a wet tissue and then started shaving his beard with a razor. But he does not have many beards, which may be difficult for him, but he can still show the details of the shave, and everyone can see. However, girls do not have beards. This is also the fun start. Tim showed his sexy legs to everyone and taught them to shave their legs. That's why I like his speech and I enjoy the process.

Unit 2 Reflection

Unit 2 Reflection             In unit2, I learned something about speaking , how to take notes in class  and listening s kills.  For speaking, I learned about body language , 7 deadly sins of speaking,  and how to be a good conversation. For notes taking, I learned 5 ways to tak ing notes, such as Outline, Cornell,  M ind  M ap,  Flow, and Slides.  I always use outline because this is easy for me to see. I will try the other ways in the fut ure.  For listening, I learned  What is different between listening and hearing, and 5 ways to listen better.   Hearing is the act of perceiving sound by the ear, but listening is a l earning skill, an active, and a  conscious  act of recogni zing.  I also had a Process Speech.  This is something I have never tried, and this is also a good start.  I think this speech is better than last time.
